Ice quality varies from rink to rink – cold barns in Northern Ontario have hard fast ice, while ice in sunny Florida is as hard as a 7-11 Slurpee.  Serious players hate ice and snow build-up on their blades.  Howies hockey legendary stick wax helps prevent ice and snow build-up allowing you to feel the puck.  The hockey wax is made from a blend of soft microcrystalline and other waxes to give you better puck control.  Even though Howies tape may not need it, the stick wax will prolong your tape job.  The tin provides a perfect storage spot without your stick wax rubbing off on the rest of your equipment.  It smells so good you’ll want to eat it… Do not eat!
